Free cats and kittens at Humane Society of Tampa Bay

- This week, the Humane Society of Tampa Bay will be waiving the cost of cat and kitten adoptions as part "Adopt-A-Cat" month in June.

Starting June 1 until June 7, the cost of adopting a cat or a kitten will be free and all cats and kittens come spayed and neutered, microchipped, screened for temperament ,and with all their vaccinations.

The free adoptions are made possible through a $5,000 grant from Scotties Tissues, which is supporting adoptions at three rescue organizations along the east coast.

The sponsorship has helped find homes for more than 700 cats and kittens.
