Clearwater police search for truck involved in hit-and-run

- Clearwater police are looking for a truck they think may have been involved in a hit-and-run Tuesday night. 

Clearwater police said the truck is a dark color and has an extended cab. It could have front-end damage. 

Police say a bicyclist was hit by a pickup truck at the intersection of Cleveland Street and Fredrica Avenue around 9:45. The truck left the scene, possibly headed east on Cleveland Street.

The male bicyclist was taken to Bayfront Health St. Petersburg with serious injuries. 

Police said anyone with information about what happened should call 727-562-4242.
