Firefighters battle brush fire in Citrus County

- Florida Forestry crews are at the scene of a wild fire in Citrus County.

The fire is located in a marshy area south of Cod Drive in Floral City.

As of mid-afternoon Sunday, the fire was around 420 acres in size. Crews were burning fire lines to contain the blaze, which was sparked by lightning strikes, officials said.

There are no homes in danger. Officials believe the fire may grow to 1,000 acres before it burns out.
