Jewelry store smash-and-grab burglars on the run

- Pasco County officials are searching for at least four possibly armed men after a smash-and-grab.

The Jeweler, located at 7405 Gall Boulevard, was robbed after 3 a.m. The owner, who did not want to be named, told FOX 13 that the suspects smashed the front entrance and stole items. He said he moved here from Miami with his wife.

"This is a retirement store for me and my wife.. a mom and pop shop," he said. "I thought it would be a safer area.. then this kind of stuff happens."

Zephyrhills Police and Pasco County Sheriff deputies are investigating.

We are still waiting for more details on the suspects.

Stay with FOX 13 for updates.
