$5 dog adoptions at tail-waggin' tailgate event

TAMPA (FOX 13) - Just in time for football season, the Pet Resource Center is hosting a tail-wagging, tailgating event this weekend!

The event will offer major deals on pet adoptions, including their “Touchdown Special”: $5 on all dogs who are 40 pounds or larger.

They’re offering reduced prices on all other pets- cats, kittens, puppies, and smaller dogs –as well.

All adoption fees include spaying/neutering, vaccinations, microchip with registration, a county pet license tag, and a free tote bag.

It’s all happening Saturday, September 5th, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the Hillsborough County's Pet Resource Center, 440 N. Falkenburg Road in Tampa.

They’ll have balloons, lemonade for guests and a DJ to keep the pawty rockin'!
