Loud booms heard across Bay area

- Many Bay area residents called the FOX 13 newsroom after hearing several loud booms Tuesday evening.

Several callers said the booms rattled their windows and doors, prompting several people to call authorities.

According to the Pasco County Sheriff's Office, the booms are related to MacDill Air Force Base operations. 

No details about the operations have been released.
