7-vehicle crash closes Gandy lanes

- A seven-vehicle crash along Gandy Boulevard is being blamed on a driver who ran a red light.

According to Pinellas Park police, the scene of the crash is at Gandy and Grande Avenue.  That's between U.S. 19 and Interstate 275.

They say a westbound driver on Gandy sped through a red light and hit another vehicle that was making a turn.  That vehicle, in turn, hit five other vehicles.

At least one serious injury was reported.
