Bradenton fifth grader sings anthem for legislators

- The joint session of the Florida Legislature kicked off in style today thanks to a Manatee County elementary school student.

Jacqueline Galvano sang the national anthem before Governor Rick Scott's State of the State address today.

The Stewart Elementary fifth grader is active in theater productions and was even a finalist for the touring version of the Broadway show 'Annie.'

She is the daughter of State Senator Bill Galvano.
