'Zombie Cat' recovery continues

- He was buried and left for dead, but now "Zombie Cat" has a new lease on life.

Bart looks almost unrecognizable from a year ago.  He was nicknamed Zombie Cat because he clawed his way out of a shallow grave after being buried alive.

He was in bad shape when he went to the Humane Society; vets had to remove his eye.  But he's been improving each day.

His foster parent, who did not want to go on camera, says he's thriving.  "He just looks amazing and he has so much fun every day."

Bart is in foster care right now, but the couple is looking into adopting the cat.

The Humane Society and the owner are still fighting for custody of the cat in court.
