1 dead, 2 others hit in possible gang-related shooting

- An investigation continues after three men showed up to a Bay area hospital with gunshot wounds Tuesday night.

The Pasco County Sheriff's Office said it happened around 10:30 p.m. in the 37100 block of Withlacoochee Avenue.

Family members then brought the three Hispanic victims- 38-year-old Ricardo Hernandez, 17-year-old Ricardo Reynoso and 22-year-old Leon Andrew Hernandez- to the hospital.

Ricardo Hernandez and Reynoso were both listed in critical condition at the time, but an update from deputies Wednesday morning said Hernandez had passed away.

Officials said Leon Hernandez was not seriously injured.

Investigators are not certain, but they believe the shooting may have been drug and/or gang-related.

They say deputies have been in the area for similar activity over the past month, and that all three victims have been investigated for crimes including drugs, robbery, grand theft, and assault.
