Suspect shot during Dade City home invasion

- Two suspects broke into an apartment Friday, but residents were home when it happened and police said they fought back. 

The Dade City Chief of Police said the two suspects broke into an apartment at Majestic Oaks Court.

Two people were in the apartment at the time. One of those people shot one of the intruders.

The other suspect ran.

The suspect who was shot is in the hospital. Their condition was not available.

Police said they were looking for the second suspect.
