Deputies hope to solve case of body found in 1972

- Hernando County deputies hope someone recognizes a clay composite of a woman whose body was found in 1972. 

The unidentified woman was found near High Corner Road and Cortez Boulevard. Investigators believe she may have recently traveled from Alabama or north Florida. 

She was described as a white female between 30 and 40 years old. She was around 5'0" tall and weighted between 125 and 145 pounds. She had short, brown hair. She had six upper and six lower teeth. She was found wrapped in a bed spread with a distinctive pattern, described as pineapple damask. 

The blanket had three squared corners and one rounded corner.
