Pinellas County deputies searched for a 91-year-old woman after she was reported missing from a nursing facility, but she was found sleeping in the wrong bedroom by Thursday morning.

According to deputies, Frances Varchetta was last seen around 10 p.m. Wednesday after staff members with Seminole Nursing and Rehabilitation, located at 10800 Temple Terrace in Seminole, reported her missing. They said they were concerned for her safety.

The area and facility were searched, but deputies said they were unable to locate Varchetta. They said she has a medical condition that causes “extreme confusion.”

Before 8 a.m. Thursday, deputies said she was found by a nurse at the facility. They said she fell asleep in a different bedroom than her designated room.
