Historic B-29 lands in Sarasota

- A plane once used to strike fear in the hearts of enemies is on display in Sarasota through the weekend.

The world's only flying B-29 Superfortress landed at Sarasota-Bradenton Airport and is open to visitors starting today.

The B-29 'Fifi' is one of several historic aircraft that tours the country as a piece of history.  Visitors can get tours of the bomber on the ground, or even choose to buy a ride.  The plane will take to the skies Saturday and Sunday.

Rides start at $575.
