The wife of a Haines City police officer, accused of stealing Christmas gifts from the home of another law enforcement family, was denied bond during a tearful court appearance on Tuesday.

Dana Hagar is accused of ripping off a Minnie Mouse sleeping bag and a board game worth about $30. They were sitting on the porch of an officer with the Bartow Police Department.

"I wanted to say, 'What are you doing, girl?'" said Polk Sheriff Grady Judd.

The incident, which was captured by home video surveillance cameras, happened on Friday night.

After the family posted the video, Facebook went wild. They got 50,000 hits.

Investigators say they found the items in Hagar's home.  She was identified by a tattoo on her ankle.

Since she was on probation for  shoplifting, the judge refused her bond. She will be going back to court in about a week and a half.
