Are selfies more dangerous than sharks?

In a surprising study, Mashable reports more people have died in 2015 from taking "selfies" than shark attacks.

Sharks have claimed the lives of eight people in 2015 while twelve people have died taking pictures of themselves.

"It seems like it's more important to get the perfect picture than to think of one's personal safety. Sad isn't it?" said radio host and pop culture expert Drew Garabo.

"Think about your loved ones, and how stupid you're going to feel when you're in your casket and grieving loved ones are around you because you had to take a "selfie" speeding down the Veterans Expressway," Garabo added.

It's a good reminder to never text, tweet or "selfie" and drive.
