Arrest made after man exposed himself to child in Treasure Island, police say

An arrest has been made after a man exposed himself to a young girl, said Treasure Island police.

The incident happened shortly before 7 p.m. on Saturday. Police said the victim was walking along Lagoon Lane when a white four-door vehicle began driving slowly behind her. 

According to Treasure Island police, the driver passed the girl and stopped several feet ahead of her. The driver asked the girl for help and she ignored him. Then he exited the car and exposed himself to the girl. Police released a photo of the exact vehicle involved on Sunday.

No other information has been provided, including the name of the suspect. Treasure Island police are expected to provided additional details during a Wednesday press conference at 2 p.m.
