PORT RICHEY (FOX 13) - Pasco County deputies arrested the 26-year-old suspect who, they say, fatally shot a 14-year-old boy.
Steven Irizarry Marin was arrested Monday and faces a charge of murder for the February 14 shooting death of Christian Robinson, according to his arrest affidavit.
Robinson was a passenger in a blue Hyundai that day. Around 6 p.m., Marin followed the Hyundai down Ridge Crest Drive off of U.S. Highway 19 in Port Richey. When the Hyundai turned into a cul-de-sac in the 6400 block of Ridge Crest Drive, Marin opened fire, deputies say.
In Marin’s arrest affidavit, detectives wrote multiple gunshots could be heard on surveillance video collected from surrounding homes. On Marin’s phone, detectives said they found a PDF with the definition of homicide, which was downloaded hours after the shooting.
Deputies have not specified a possible motive in the case.
