Avon Park triple shooting leaves one teenager dead

- One adult and two teens were shot -- one fatally -- in Avon Park on Wednesday night.

Ivan Joel Garcia and Keshawn Bryant Souvenir, both 16 years old, were found on the ground at the Palms at Lake Tulane on Hal McRae Boulevard. Souvenir died at a local hospital, and Garcia remains in critical condition.

Highlands County Sheriff deputies responded to the apartment complex around 9:40 p.m. Neither lived there, but were visiting friends at the time of the shooting. 

The third victim, 29-year-old Avon Park man, showed up at Florida Hospital-Wauchula with a gunshot wound in the leg. His name was not released.
