Belleair mansion heavily damaged in early morning fire

A two-alarm fire at a Belleair mansion caused significant damage early Saturday morning.

Officials said the fire broke out at 7 Stonegate Drive shortly after 3 a.m. Saturday.

When crews arrived at the scene, the nearly 8,000 square foot home was already heavily involved in fire. 

Firefighters from multiple agencies have responded to assist with the blaze. Officials said that some parts of the home have collapsed.

It's unclear what caused the fire. The residents of the home were able to escape uninjured.
