EVACUATIONS: Brush fires burn almost 15 acres in Hudson

- Voluntary evacuations have been issued in a 3-mile radius around brush fires in Pasco County.

The fires have burned almost 50 acres in the area of  Old Dixie Highway and Gulf Way in Hudson, according to Pasco County Fire Rescue crews.

Residents within three miles of the area have been asked to evacuate, but the evacuations are not mandatory at this time. 

There are also some road closures. Drivers are asked to avoid the area if possible.
