Busch Gardens welcomes new baby giraffe, Angel

- Busch Gardens has welcomed another baby giraffe to its Serengeti home.

Keepers announced the birth through the park’s Facebook page, welcoming the female girl, Angel, who was born to mother, Cupid. Angel weighs about 150 pounds and is already six feet tall.

Angel is not yet ready for the public eye, but soon visitors can see her on the Serengeti Plain.

On Thanksgiving morning, Busch Gardens announced the birth of a boy giraffe, with the same height and weight measurements.
