Car crashes into water from Howard Frankland bridge

- Police and emergency crews responded to a vehicle that flipped off the Howard Frankland bridge and into Tampa Bay on Saturday.

This incident happened around 11:30 a.m. on the St. Petersburg side of the bridge.

The occupant of the vehicle that landed in the water was not injured, officials said.

It's unclear what led up to the crash.
