Car partially submerged in water, no one hurt

- City officials in Clearwater say no one was hurt when a car became partially submerged in the water off Courtney Campbell Beach.

Pinellas Fire and Clearwater Police responded to calls after people spotted the car in the water not far from the Causeway.  The SUV was about 15 feet from the shore.

Authorities tell us the occupants of the car were not in the car at the time the tide came in, and it appears the driver just parked it too close to the water.  Everyone has been accounted for who might have been in the vehicle.  The owner of the car has not been identified.
