A prayer service welcoming people of all faiths brought the community together Sunday night to remember the victims of the Orlando nightclub shooting.

St. Paul's All-Inclusive Lutheran Church in Clearwater held an Ecumenical Memorial Prayer Service Sunday at 6:30 p.m.

The church says the service and candlelight vigil was an opportunity for the community to grieve and be consoled by area religious leaders in the aftermath of tragic events in Orlando.

Special music, prayers and songs were followed by the candlelight vigil outside on Gulf-to-Bay Boulevard with the reading of the names and a tolling of the bell for each of the 49 people who died.
