Crane driver killed in I-75 crash

- Traffic is flowing again along Interstate 75 after a deadly crash involving a crane.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the crane veered off southbound I-75 near mile marker 228 in Manatee County, which is about where I-275 rejoins I-75.

The crane rolled over after running off the road.  The driver died at the scene.

The view from SkyFOX showed the crane truck had come to a stop in brush.  Several emergency crews remained on the scene.
