Crews rescue person stuck under collapsed roof

- Tampa Fire Rescue crews rescued a person trapped under a collapsed roof in South Tampa Thursday afternoon.

It happened around 3:15 p.m. at a structure near 3400 S Drexel Avenue just east of the Selmon Expressway and west of Bayshore Blvd.

Crews said they rescued one victim who was under the roof. The person appeared to be stable and was taken to the hosptial around 3:45 p.m.
