Crusoe the Celebrity Dachshund makes Tampa appearances

TAMPA (FOX 13) - He's has a New York Times best selling book, an award winning blog and his social media videos have millions of views online.

Crusoe the Celebrity Dashchund and his dad Ryan Beauchesne stopped by Good Day to talk with Jen Epstein about his viral videos and his recent book signing at Barnes and Noble in Carrollwood.

Crusoe is a seven-year-old black and tan dachshund whose first brush with fame happened six years ago when he won "best trick" in a weiner dog competition. Since then, he has traveled around the world meeting fans and bringing smiles to millions of his online followers.

Crusoe also uses his "celebrity status" to raise awareness about IVDD (Intervertebral Disc Disease), which affects 25 percent of dachshunds because of their long backs.
