Deputies: Man racks up 106 new charges while out on bond

The sheer number of charges against Torries Kermet Davis is shocking: 106.

"I think the fact that we have 106 cases between agencies speaks to the fact that he's been pretty busy," said Debbie Carter, spokesperson for the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies say on January 1st, while everyone was celebrating the New Year, the 20 year old was busy breaking into a whopping 39 cars in the Lake Lucerne Apartment Complex in Brandon.  Even worse - he was out of jail on bond at the time.

"It's a different breed of person - I feel like there's a lack of respect for other people," said one victim who asked us not to use her name.

"I'm very glad to hear they caught him.  I honestly didn't think they would.  It makes you feel a little safer
but it's still scary," she said.

Davis is also accused of breaking into cars in the College Chase neighborhood in Ruskin and in the city of Tampa.  This is at least his 5th time being arrested in Hillsborough County.

"Maybe he should've spent that time getting a job instead of breaking into our cars and damaging our vehicles," the victim said.

Deputies are also looking to catch up with a second suspect.  He goes by "D" and is apparently from Fort Myers.  There is a $3,000 dollar reward for information leading to his arrest.

Meanwhile Davis sits in jail, without bond.
