Deputies search for missing, 37-year-old Highlands Co. man

- A Highlands County man seems to have disappeared without a trace and detectives hope the public will help find him.

The Highlands County Sheriff's office said 37-year-old Michael Johns was last seen March 8 near East Claradge Avenue in Avon Park. 

Michael Johns was described as a white male standing  5'11" tall and weighing about 200 pounds. He has brown hair and hazel eyes, and was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, blue jeans and carrying a red Tampa Bay Buccaneers duffel bag.
