Deputies: Shoplifting suspect bites, escapes from store

- Pasco County deputies are searching for a shoplifting suspect who bit a loss prevention worker, they said.

On Sunday, the suspect was seen stealing clothing from the Bealls Store located at 12125 U.S. Highway 19 in Hudson. Loss prevention employees confronted her outside and tried to detain her, but she bit one of the “multiple times” on his hand, according to a media release.

She fled sound on U.S. 19 in a white, Ford Ranger. Deputies described her as beign between 5’6 to 5’8 tall, weighing between 160 to 200 pounds, with reddish-brown hair. She may be in her mid-30s.

Deputies ask anyone with information on the suspect’s whereabouts and identity to call 1-800-706-2488.
