Detectives search for Riverview home invasion suspects

- Hillsborough County deputies are searching for two home invasion suspects who stole cash and a debit card from the victims, authorities said.

The incident occurred at a home on Stone Road in Riverview before 11 p.m. on Sunday. According to Hillsborough County detectives, two suspects, described as black males, were armed with rifles and entered the home through a back door.

One suspect ordered the victims to get down and held them at gunpoint while demanding their property and cash, according to a media release. One suspect shot his rifle inside the home and is hit a door. Both suspects fled the home with the stolen items in an unknown vehicle.

Detectives say a stolen debit card was used at a Walmart at 2701 Fletcher Avenue in Tampa within several hours of the incident by an unknown black male and female.

Those suspects were seen in the store’s surveillance video. They are described as a black male, between the ages of 20 and 30, 5’7 to 5’10 feet tall, weighs between 160 and 180 pounds, has a goatee and was wearing a blue-checkered jacket and white pants. The black female was described as a woman between the ages of 20 and 30, between 5’6 to 5’8 feet tall, weighs between 120 and 140 pounds, and was seen wearing glasses and a multi-colored dress and gray jacket.

It's unclear whether the suspects seen in Walmart are the same suspects in the Riverview home invasion.

They were seen leaving the store in an SUV, possibly a Dodge Durango, authorities say.
