Crated dog rescued from burning apartment building in Tampa

- Firefighters rescued a crated dog from a burning apartment Friday night in Tampa.

Hillsborough County Fire Rescue responded to the fire at Radius Palms on Caribbean Breeze Drive and when they got there, four units were burning. They said they rescued a crated dog that was home alone in one unit. 

The dog was not hurt and HCFR said he is getting a lot of loving care from first responders as they wait for its owner to com home.

The Red Cross was called to help people in need if their homes were left uninhabitable.
