Dozens drive streets to support President Trump

- On a day that saw protests around the country calling for the impeachment of President Trump, about 30 people showed up in Clearwater to show support.

Penny Jones, one of the president’s supporters, says nothing is more patriotic than raising the flags. “Today was the perfect day to celebrate the Fourth of July and Donald Trump.”

Jones was among dozens of supporters who drove through the streets of Pinellas County on Sunday afternoon.

Participants say the grassroots event was intended to be upbeat and positive, an effort to showcase the American spirit.
