Escaped juvenile caught in St. Petersburg

- Authorities said one of two juveniles who escaped from a Hillsborough County facility has been caught.

Anthony Bays, 18, and Anthony Cook, 17, escaped from the Falkenburg Academy on January 31, according to investigators. Both of the teens were serving time for grand theft auto.

The teens had cut a hole in the chain-link fence that surrounds the yard of the facility, deputies said.

On Monday, St. Pete police said they found Bays hiding in a vacant home on Davison Avenue Northeast. He was taken into custody.

Authorities are still searching for Cook.
