Fallen tree damages Seffner mobile homes

- A major cleanup job is needed in Seffner after large branches fell and damaged at least two mobile homes.

The incident occurred Monday around 9:30 p.m. at the Twin Palms Mobile Home Park, at 11520 Hillsborough Avenue. A limb from a large tree on the property, fell onto a cluster of structures at its base, including the mobile homes.

At least one of the homes is unlivable and has been vacated, according to fire officials. There is significant damage to its roof and carport.

There have been no reports of serious injuries from the incident. It’s unclear whether the incident is weather-related, or whether anyone was inside at the time.
