Family devastated by Mother's Day fire gets help from Sonny's

- You can grab some dinner and help a family in need at participating Sonny's BBQs on May 31.

Proceeds will help a Plant City family of four who lost everything during a Mother's Day fire.

Jerry and Kim McCubbin are parents to two children. They're also both nurses at Tampa General Hospital. When the folks at Sonny's heard the family's story, they wanted to do something to help.

Sonny's says 25 percent of proceeds collected will go towards the family's expenses.
