Fire destroys Gibsonton mobile home

- A fire destroyed a mobile home in Gibsonton.  It happened in a community at U.S. 41 and Mabrey Avenue.

Firefighters arrived to find it nearly engulfed in flames.   They got it under control within 20 minutes and kept it from spreading to nearby homes.

One neighboring home and a car had some damage from the heat.

All six people who live there were able to get out safely.  One person had minor injuries, and was treated at the scene.

The Hillsborough County Fire Marshal's office is currently investigating the cause of the fire.
