Fire engulfs vacant home in East Tampa neighborhood

- A Tampa home was engulfed in flames Thursday morning.

The home, which is vacant, is located in the 3100 block of 25th Avenue East, according to Tampa firefighters. While the fire was still active, the view from SkyFOX revealed the scorched framework of the structure. The roof appeared to be gone.

Firetrucks have lined the street. There is no word on injuries or the cause of the fire.
