Fire sends smoke billowing over Sarasota

- Smoke from a two-alarm warehouse fire filled the air in Sarasota County earlier this afternoon, but the blaze is now under control.

The scene was at Leonard Reid Avenue and Dr. Martin Luther King Way.

Sarasota County Fire Department's chief told FOX 13 that the warehouse contains a car and a boat, and the HazMat team is on the scene as a precaution because of the fiberglass composition of the boat.

Officials later tweeted that no injuries were reported.

All roads had reopened by 3:30 p.m.
