Firefighter injured in Clearwater mobile home blaze

- A firefighter was injured this afternoon while searching through a burning mobile home for any potential victims.

Clearwater Fire & Rescue says the fire broke out just before 4 p.m. in a unit in the back of the Twin Lakes Mobile Home Park off Gulf to Bay Boulevard.

The firefighter was taken to Morton Plant Hospital for treatment.  Late this afternoon, Clearwater officials tweeted that his injuries did not appear to be life-threatening.

There was no word of any other injuries.
