BROOKSVILLE, Fla. (FOX 13) - A 45-year-old Brooksville, Florida man faces a felony battery charge after allegedly throwing a bowl of pancake batter at a woman with enough force to break the plastic bowl into pieces.
An arrest report says the victim was not directly hit with the bowl but was covered in pancake batter when Hernando County deputies arrived.
Deputies say Dwayne Zimmerman was arrested after the allegedly drunken tirade Friday.
A woman called 911 to report Zimmerman came onto the porch where she was making pancakes.
The woman told deputies that Zimmerman began yelling at her, calling her a "whore" and accusing her of having a sexually transmitted disease.
That's when Zimmerman allegedly picked up the cooking pan being used by the woman to make pancakes and threw it. He then allegedly threw the bowl of pancake batter, splattering it on the victim and all over the porch.
The address where the incident happened is listed as Zimmerman's address, but it's unclear the relationship between Zimmerman and the victim.
He was arrested on a felony battery charge. He remained jailed Monday.
Jail records don't indicate whether Zimmerman has a lawyer.
