Four Braden River High School students have been arrested for sexual battery of a 13-year-old girl.

The Manatee County Sheriff's Office says the girl told detectives she snuck out of her Bradenton home to watch Netflix with a 16-year-old boy on August 18, 2017.

She told deputies while she was watching television with him, four other juveniles entered the apartment.

The 16-year-old left the room, argued with the other juveniles about the girl being a virgin, deputies say, and then the juvenile went back into the room and told the victim to undress.

Deputies say she refused, but the suspect persisted and began to remove her clothes himself.

The girl told detectives he sexually assaulted her and she was in fear of being injured if she resisted, and when the teen left the room, another teen entered the room and also sexually assaulted her.

When he left, deputies say three other teens did the same, one after another, and she was in fear of being injured if she resisted, she told detectives.

Three juveniles - ages 15, 16, 17 - and an 18-year-old, Timothy Hinds, were arrested on January 19, the day after the victim came forward, and they were charged with sexual battery.

Another suspect is still being sought.
