TAMPA, Fla. (FOX 13) - As part of the Women's Final Four festivities in Tampa next weekend, the city announced Thursday that there will be a free Gavin DeGraw concert followed by a fireworks show downtown.
Tampa’s Amalie Arena is hosting the final games of the 2019 NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament, with semifinal games on Friday, April 5 and the national championship on Sunday, April 7. Several local events had already been scheduled, but now the concert has been added.
The concert will be part of the Super Saturday events at Curtis Hixon Park. It will feature pep bands from the Final Four teams, coverage of the men’s Final Four games in Minneapolis, food trucks, and more. DJ Shawna and Ayla Brown are expected to perform ahead of country star Gavin DeGraw.
The free concert is scheduled to start at 5:30 and run until 11 p.m., wrapping with a fireworks finale.
