Grilled Cheese Festival draws big crowds

- Sunday, Ybor City was the place for cheese lovers to indulge.

Centro Asturiano de Tampa hosted the Tampa Grilled Cheese Festival.

Vendors served everything from the old classic to more creative versions of the sandwich.

“We’ve just got people here doing crazy amounts of grilled cheese,” said Jeremy Gomez with Generation Food Truck. “We’ve got vendors; we’ve got sunset music fest doing the music for us, there’s like 10,000 people here now just having fun, eating”

The festival ends at 6:00 p.m.
