Haines City police search for suspect in 2 robberies

- Police are looking for a man they say is connected to two robberies in Haines City.

Police say it happened around 11 p.m. Monday night. A 6-foot tall black male entered a Marathon gas station on 95 US Highway. The suspect showed a small caliber handgun to three people in the store.

He then demanded for the money in the cash registers, police said.

He was wearing a blue jean jacket, light colored blue jeans, and a blue/grey style knit hat.

According to the police, that same man is suspected of robbing the Circle K on E. Hinson Ave Monday morning in Haines City.
