Hernando County deputies shave heads in support of jail nurse fighting cancer

- A Hernando County jail nurse is battling cancer, and fellow deputies wanted to make sure she knew that she is loved and isn't alone.

Together, several patrol and detention deputies at the Hernando County Sheriff’s Office shaved their heads in support of Deb Dolby, who has lost all of her hair.

The agency shared images of the transformation and the smiles they all had with each other.

The post read, “Nurse Dolby continually proves herself to be an invaluable asset to the Hernando County Detention Center and has a longstanding record of excellence within our agency.”
