A couple from Spring Hill is under arrest on credit card fraud and drug charges.

“They were diversified criminals, I guess,” said Sheriff Al Nienhuis.

The case began in August when security from Bed Bath and Beyond tipped off deputies to some suspicious activity.

Jeansy Cuevas-Padron Hand Marileisys Rodriguez Serra allegedly used fake credit cards to buy items, and then return them at different locations.

In Florida, deputies say they have racked up $26,000 in charges since 2013.

Deputies say they were making fake credit cards; likely stealing the info with a skimmer and then using special equipment to print out embossed cards.

Sadly, the tools they used are all available online.

“If they steal your credit card information what we believe they were doing they were putting their real name on the card but using your card number,” the sheriff said.

Deputies say they had a dozen pot plants inside, too. They are expecting additional arrests.

They believe there could be hundreds of victims.
