Students at Central High School in Hernando County returned to school Monday morning after losing a classmate.

Sebastian Rivera died Sunday, five days after he was involved in a motorcycle crash.

On Tuesday morning, he was riding to school when he rear-ended a slow-moving pickup truck.  He was ejected, and then struck by another car.

Under the Friday night lights, Central High fans wore white shirts with the number 3 to honor the 16-year-old junior, who played quarterback.

The team also rallied around their injured quarterback, wearing number 3 decals on their helmets.

Funeral plans have not been announced.
