Hit-and-run driver seriously injures bicyclist, deputies say

- Deputies are searching for a driver who hit a bicyclist and fled the crash scene, they say.

According to Hillsborough County investigators, the suspect vehicle hit the bicyclist on South Forbes Road Monday morning at 6:15 a.m. It’s possible the vehicle is a Toyota Camry, missing part of its right front air dam. 

The victim was transported to a nearby hospital with serious injuries, according to deputies.
